NEXIONA is an artificial intelligence assistant developed and operated by Deshpande Technologies.

This Privacy Policy explains what information NEXIONA collects, how that information is used, where it is stored, and the choices available to users.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use NEXIONA, we may collect or process the following information:

• Account information, such as your email address, Firebase user identifier, and profile information provided during account creation.
• Messages and prompts that you send to NEXIONA in order to generate AI responses.
• Technical information required to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service, such as authentication status, request information, error information, and server logs.

2. Information Stored on Your Device

NEXIONA may store certain information locally on your device, including:

• Chat history
• Saved or favourite responses
• Theme preferences
• Onboarding completion status

This locally stored information may be removed by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling NEXIONA from your device.

We use information to:

• Create and manage user accounts
• Authenticate users securely
• Process prompts and generate AI responses
• Maintain and improve app functionality
• Detect misuse, fraud, or security threats
• Diagnose technical problems

When you send a message to NEXIONA, the message is transmitted securely to our Firebase Cloud Function and then processed by an artificial intelligence service to generate a response.

Users should not submit passwords, banking details, government identification numbers, medical records, or other highly sensitive personal information in AI prompts.

AI-generated responses may occasionally be inaccurate. Important medical, legal, financial, or safety-related decisions should be verified with an appropriately qualified professional.

NEXIONA uses third-party services required for authentication, cloud processing, app distribution, security, and AI response generation. These services may include:

• Google Firebase Authentication
• Google Cloud Functions
• Google Cloud Secret Manager
• Google Gemini API
• Google Play Services

Information processed by these providers is also subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect user information. These include authenticated access, encrypted network communication, secure cloud infrastructure, and server-side management of confidential API credentials.

No electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Account information may be retained for as long as the account remains active or as needed to provide NEXIONA's services.

Information may also be retained where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, dispute resolution, or enforcement of applicable agreements.

Locally stored chat history and preferences generally remain on the user's device until they are deleted by the user, the app's storage is cleared, or the app is uninstalled.
